+ How do I book a tattoo?

All of our artists handle their own diaries, if you'd like to book or enquire with any of them, please do so by contacting them individually. You can do this by heading over to our 'Artists' page, or if you're not sure who you'd like to do your tattoo, email the shop; hijinkstattooclub@gmail.com, or swing by, 44 Fraton road.

+ How should I prepare for my appointment?

Make sure you're well rested, hydrated, and have eaten before your appointment, we do not recomend energy drinks before you get tattooed. Try to wear loose fitting clothing, and please note that tatooing is messy, we are not to be held resposible if we ruin your fancy garms. Feel free to bring your own music or entertainment if you are in for a long session, we are up for a chat most of the time, but you might not want to listen to our bullshit for much longer than an hour.. Drinking is not recomended the night before, and we reserve the right to refuse anyone we deem under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

+ Can I get a tattoo if I'm under 18?

No can do little dude! its against the law, and we dont want to get into trouble. Not even with a note from your 'mum'...

+ Do you use specialist tattooing ink, such as vegan, white or UV?

While we do offer vegan ink, we do not currently offer either white or uv tattoos at this time. We do not offer white ink only tattoos because they dont have any longevity, and we want you to be happy with your tattoos for many years to come!

+ Do you offer piercings?

Unfortunately we do not offer piercings, but we can recomend a great piercest located in Southsea; Holli Childs @southseabeautyco

+ Do I need to supply my own design and drawing?

Not at all, all we need is a concept, all of our work is custom, if you have any reference images for inspiration, that's great, but we will always draw our own design unique to you, suited in the artists own styles.

+ Do I have to have a consultation before my appointment?

Not necessarily old boy, if you are getting a larger piece, you may feel more comfortable popping in before hand, and discussing it with the artist, but we are always happy to book and appointment, chat and discuss placement and ideas over email.

+ Do I need to bring I.D.?

If you're wondering if you do, you probably do, if theres even the slightest chance you think you might be asked... bring it silly. Otherwise you'll be wasting our time and your own.

+ Do I always need to book in advance or can I just walk in?

While we love having visitors and by all means if you'd like to book in, please swing by the shop, but we are very busy, and may not be able to accomodate walk ins at such short notice. That said, always keep an eye out on the shops instagram page (@hijinkstattooclub) for regular updates, as if we have space that will be the first place we post about it!

+ May I bring a guest with me?

Yes! Feel free to bring someone with you for encouragement, however, we'd like to ask that you limit it to one person only as the shop is a working environment and we do have limited space.

+ Where can I park?

There is ample parking around Fratton, we recomend downloading the 'Ringo' app and paying for your parking using the area code '1200', this will save you the hastle of having to find pound coins in a hurry. Parking is charged at £1 per hour.

+ How much will my tattoo cost?

That all depends on the design! We charge by the hour for bigger pieces, and by the piece for one off smller designs! Get in touch and we can give you a quote!

+ What payment methods do you accept?

We take card or cash! Some artists may accept barters or trdes at their own discression ;) But no haggling I'm afraid.
